Wool Socks

Wool is a naturally wicking, naturally insulating fiber that is harvested from sheep. Wool is a very durable fabric so you can count on a pair of wool socks lasting much longer than typical cotton socks. Wool also makes for a great thermal insulating sock because it is able to wick the sweat from your feet keeping them dry. Keeping your feet dry is vital. A wet sock makes it easier to get blisters and in cold weather conditions, your feet will stay cold. If your skin is sensitive, you may want to go with Merino Wool rather than traditional wool. Traditional wool is much more coarse and can feel itchy on your feet.
