Shipping

Domestic Shipping (USA)

The Sock Site offers a variety of shipping options on all U.S. orders. We do not process orders on the weekend. Please note that all or part of your order may be shipped from the manufacturer and may require an additional 3 days processing time. Orders placed using an expedited shipping option(Next Day or Second Day Shipping) will be contacted if the order will not ship out right away.

FREE Shipping

Free shipping is available on all U.S. orders over $100. The shipping method for free orders is Standard Shipping (see below). Please see below for more details on Standard Shipping. For FREE shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, please allow 9-14 business days for delivery.


Standard Shipping

Standard Shipping is provided in partnership with United Parcel Service (UPS) and United States Postal Service (USPS). The service is called Mail Innovations. Please allow 4-10 business days for delivery within the 48 contiguous states.

The Standard Shipping program works as follows:

UPS picks up your package from our warehouse, processes (sorts) and transports your package to USPS. Then, USPS accepts your package and makes the final delivery to your mailing address.

International Shipping

The Sock Site offers international shipping by USPS Air Mail to a number of international countries, shown below. Typical transit time is between 5-10 days, but occasionally items can experience customs delays of several weeks. In transit tracking is not provided for your package, we can only confirm delivery.

Calculating Your Order Cost in a Foreign Currency

All prices on our site are listed in US dollars, and charged in US dollars. The exact exchange rate that you will pay is determined by the bank that has issued your credit card, but in general it will match very closely with the going exchange rates. Returns

We charge a 15% restocking fee for returned items. The Sock Site will provide a free exchange or issue a full refund (excluding shipping costs) for all non-clearance items received within 30 days of when the items were shipped, provided the items are unworn, unwashed, with all original tags attached, and free of defects. We cannot accept returns on clothing items that have been exposed to cigarette smoke or pet dander. Such items are not resellable and will be returned to the customer. Items received after 30 days but within 60 days will qualify for store credit. For exchanges, you may still return the item within 30 days of when you received the exchanged item. If you receive a defective product, you must notify us within three days of receiving the product to be eligible for a return. If you do not follow this policy, we will only accept defective items at our discretion.

Please include a copy of your invoice or a note with your name and or order number / invoice number. Let us know if you would like to receive a refund or an exchange. If you are exchanging a product, please let us know what items you would like to exchange for. You may send returns to The Sock Site without contacting us. Please note that refunds and exchanges may take a little longer to process during the Christmas season. If your exchange is urgent, please notify us by logging into your The Sock Site account online or through our Contact page. You may also call us using our toll free number.

Christmas Returns

For the holiday season, The Sock Site will extend the period allowed for returns to accept all non-clearance items purchased after November 1st to be returned for a full refund by January 7th, or 30 days after the purchase date, whichever is later.

Clearance Items

We do not accept returns on clearance items unless the item is defective. If you receive a defective product, you must notify us within three days of receiving the product to be eligible for a return. All merchandise sold at a 30% or greater discount is considered a clearance sale.
